Brenan Dew, Australian Space Agency

'Growing A Globally Respected Australian Space Industry’’

Brenan Dew joined the Australian Space Agency in January 2021 as manager of the Space Discovery Centre. Bringing previous STEM education experience from the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, which comprises the Powerhouse museum and Sydney Observatory, Brenan assisted in bringing the Australian Space Discovery Centre to life in the first half of 2021. With a background in astronomy, astrophysics, and history, Brenan also has a keen research interest in cultural astronomy.

Connie is an experienced presenter & speaker & this year at Blackhat 2020 was announced a winner of the Black Unicorn Award 2020 - as one of the Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity Worldwide. Connie is both Head of Solution Security & Head of Security Assurance – a global competence centre for security in the Ericsson CTO office. Leading a team of experts in a dynamic & innovating environment from security assurance specialists, ethical hackers, competence development & security frameworks - Working in partnership with R&D & Global Services, along with all business areas & regional organizations globally to continuously improve security of Ericsson products end to end.
